Dasha & Steff chat with Canadian based Industrial Designer and Associate Professor Tim Antoniuk about his unique process of blending architecture and furniture design together to develop multi-unit spaces for new residential buildings at his studio Architure in Edmonton Alberta. As a graduate from the Industrial Design program at the University of Alberta, Tim opened up Hot House, a furniture design company with other design graduates where he exhibited at Salone del Mobile in Milan and sold his furniture and houseware products in retail stores across North America, Europe, Japan and South America.

We are grateful to have our mentor and past professor Rob Lederer on the podcast to chat about his design career in both Australia and Canada for over the past 40 years. Rob recently retired from the University of Alberta where he was an associate professor, program coordinator, and an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. As Rob takes us through his diverse (and quite frankly awesome) career in Industrial Design, he shares his teaching philosophy and provides insightful wisdom for new designers.
